Welcome to Casa Malibu! This stylish and updated home sits just one block from the sandy shores of Folly Beach. Enjoy basking in the sun on the private balcony, walk to the beach and enjoy a refreshing rinse-off in the outdoor shower upon your return, and indulge in the outdoor amenities including a gas grill, wraparound deck, and expansive grounds surrounded by lush greenery.

The well-equipped kitchen flows into the dining space and living area with tons of natural light, and two outdoor access points where you can grill out and dine under the trees on the large wraparound deck. Large flat screen TV in living room offers evening entertainment. Extra sleeping can be utilized on the sleeper sofa in the living room for 2 more guests.

This large property offers 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan, smart TV, and vaulted ceilings. Bedroom 1 has a king bed, en-suite full bathroom with a large walk-in tiled shower and claw foot tub, plus a private balcony with lounging chairs. Bedroom 2 is just off the kitchen and features a queen bed with en-suite jack and jill full bathroom shared with the third bedroom. Bedroom 3 is furnished with a  full on bottom and twin on top bunk bed, and has it's own private rear entrance. The interior entrance to the third bedroom is via the second bedroom, or for more privacy you can access it through the rear entrance. High-end linens and towel sets provided for the maximum occupancy of the home.

There is parking for 4 vehicles in the driveway. Additional vehicles must find off-street parking where available and follow the City of Folly Beach rules. Uber and Lyft are very scarce on the island, please plan your transportation accordingly. Check-in is at 4:00pm and check out is at 10:00am.

Center Street is just 1.2 miles away, to wander through shops and explore restaurants. Take a walk down or fish from the second longest fishing pier on the east coast, the Edwin S. Taylor Fishing Pier. Bike to the far east end of Folly, down E. Ashley Ave, to the ¼ mile walking path leading to the picturesque beach to take in the serene view of Morris Island Lighthouse. The farthest point at the west of the island has the Folly Beach County Park and more manned lifeguard stations. Several local tour companies offer paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, and shelling tours, sunset cruises for dolphin watching, as well as surfing lessons. 

Historic downtown Charleston is a mere 25 minute drive away. Neighboring towns of James Island, Johns Island, Mount Pleasant, Isle Of Palms, & Wild Dunes all have something special to offer, whether you are a foodie, into golf, historic sites, or craft brews. Golfing is a popular pass time in the Lowcountry, so you can find several nearby at Stono Ferry, Patriot's Point Links, James Island Community Course, and world-class courses on Kiawah Island.

Casa Malibu is strictly non-smoking and is a family vacation rental. Home is pet-friendly with a $125 plus tax non-refundable pet fee, per pet, paid directly to the property management company after booking. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed. Amenities include $250 beach gear credit, Wi-Fi, fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances, outdoor shower, gas grill, keyless entry, washer/dryer in detached building on property, linens, towels, central heat and air conditioning, 24-hour emergency on-call staff. A starter amenity kit for bathrooms and kitchen are provided that guests replenish as they need. Property is managed by Carolina One Vacation Rentals. No gatherings allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of the home. Must be 25 years old or older to rent. We hope to host you soon on Folly Beach!
